Hey!
My name is Marissa. I love all things health and wellness, reading, traveling, art, and coffee. I have two beautiful children and an amazing husband and we live in Minnesota. Something you might now know about me is that I am actually a doctor of Chiropractic! I practice during the week in Tyler, Minnesota and do photography in my free time. I absolutely ADORE it.
I moved back to Minnesota after earning my doctorate in 2023. I have loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember. Growing up my parents always had a camera around the house and bought me one for Christmas in 2018. The next year, I picked up the camera with the intention of actually learning to use it, and the rest is history.
My WHY
I love art and have always been a creative soul which is why my biggest goal is to make magic in the mundane (hello, midwest). The joy I receive from telling other people's stories fuels my soul. This is a collaborative thing. I will be more than your photographer - I'm your friend, hype woman, coffee deliverer, dress bustler, wedding party herder, boutonniere pinner, you name it. I'm there to celebrate you just as much as your guests are.
Trust is really important to me. To get authentic, genuine, raw photos, we gotta get along. Every step of my process is SO intentional. When there's trust in our relationship, it allows you to open up for more vulnerable, true to you moments you'll want to remember for years
